About Site
The Birdie Bonanza is a one-day fundraising event to support the PGA REACH Nebraska Foundation and other charitable organizations to impact lives through the game of golf. Nebraska Section PGA Professionals will play (54) holes of golf in one day to make as many birdies as possible! Through each professional’s network, solicited donors make a financial pledge per birdie to “support their pro!” and help raise funds to benefit the non-profit 501c(3) organizations. Every pledge, every flat donation, and financial support of any NEPGA Professional in the field truly impacts lives - Please consider helping us today!

NEW for 2025! Omaha Fire Department and Lincoln Fire & Rescue's Roles
The Omaha Fire Department and the Lincoln Fire & Rescue Department will have two of their own team members competing in the Birdie Bonanza. They'll be competing for a friendly rivalry with high stakes:
· All funds raised through each fire department's Birdie Bonanza fundraising page will stay 100% with each fire department.
· The fire department with the most birdies on September 8 will receive additional bonus funds toward their cause.
This means every swing—and every birdie—counts!
Both the Omaha Fire Department and the Lincoln Fire & Rescue Department serve our community every single day, responding to emergencies, saving lives, and putting themselves in harm's way for the safety of others. By supporting their Birdie Bonanza team, you're helping provide the life-saving equipment and resources they need to do their jobs safely and effectively. It's also an opportunity to honor the bravery and dedication of First Responders, especially in remembrance of the heroes of September 11, 2001.
